There are three international airports that provide easy access to Annapolis. Each airport offers a variety of ground transportation options including rental cars, shuttles and public transportation. Getting Around Annapolis:
Historic Annapolis is easy to explore on foot. Walking around the area is the best way to experience the cobblestone sidewalks, colonial architecture, and local shops. Public transportation is also available for getting around the greater Annapolis area.
Annapolis Circulator: The Circulator runs every 20 minutes Monday through Saturday 7:30 AM to 11 PM and Sunday 8 AM to 8 PM. The Circulator is a local trolley that travels from the City’s four parking garages around the Central Business District, Westgate Circle to Memorial Circle, allowing the public to enjoy shops, food, entertainment, and other local attractions. Bus: The Annapolis Transit’s Rainbow Route makes 180 stops around the city, and serves several area hotels. Bus maps and schedules are linked below, and are also available at the Visitors Center. Contact Annapolis Transportation at 401-263-7964.
Taxi: Several Taxi services are available for travel around Annapolis and the surrounding areas. Uber also operates in Annapolis.
