Transportation between the airport and hotel:
There are three international airports that provide easy access to Gaithersburg. Each airport offers a variety of ground transportation options including rental cars, shuttles and public transportation. For nonstop, direct transportation services consider a shuttle service, Metro Trip Planner, Uber, Lyft or a taxi.
For students flying into Reagan National or Dulles, the Washington DC Metro is a good option. Reagan National has a metro stop located at the terminal. A short bus rides takes you to a metro stop from Dulles. Take the metro to Shady Grove Station on the “Red Line” (roughly 60 minutes from either airport). Check WMATA for the most recent schedule and fare information. The hotel is a short taxi ride form Shady Grove Metro.
